Peter Ewell

Peter Ewell is the Vice President at the National Center for Higher Education Management Systems (NCHEMS), a research and development center founded to improve the management effectiveness of colleges and universities. A member of the staff since 1981, Dr. Ewell’s work focuses on assessing institutional effectiveness and the outcomes of college, and involves both research and direct consulting with institutions and state systems on collecting and using assessment information in planning, evaluation, and budgeting.

Melanie Booth

Melanie Booth joined WASC in 2013. Melanie brings her experience serving as Assistant Chair on WASC visiting teams. She has also served on teams for the Northwest Commission of Colleges and Universities and as a reviewer for ACE’s College Credit Recommendation Service. Prior to joining WASC, Melanie was the Dean of Learning and Assessment and Director of the Center for Experiential Learning and Assessment at Marylhurst University in Portland, OR. She has also held academic positions at Saint Mary’s College of California, San Diego State University, and SCORE!
